Newcastle City Hall
Heritage
Opened in 1929, Newcastle City Hall is one of Newcastle's most unique and prestigious venues. Its Old World charm and stunning architecture, including sandstone walls and pillars, marble staircases, clocktower and sweeping ballroom, is reminiscent of a bygone era.
Concert Hall
The Concert Hall has been acclaimed as one of the finest auditoriums in Australia. Located on level 1 of City Hall the Concert Hall will be used for all Oral Presentations and the Conference Dinner.
Banquet Room
Located on the ground floor of City Hall, the Banquet Room will be used for Lunches, Coffee Breaks, Trade Displays and Poster Presentations.

Located in the heart of Newcastle’s City Centre, the Newcastle City Hall is within 5 minutes of over 700 accommodation rooms and a short walking distance from the City’s major attractions, beaches, harbour foreshore, cafes and restaurants.
From Sydney – take the Wallsend exit off the F3 Freeway and follow the signs to the city centre. Approaching Newcastle CBD along King Street, Newcastle City Hall is at 290 King Street opposite Civic Park.

Climate
Newcastle enjoys a temperate climate, with warm to hot summers (December to February) and mild winters (June to August). September will be spring time in the Hunter with temperatures of 15 to 25°C.
